- Assisted in environmental due diligence review for multistate mineral, timber, and industrial transactions
- Helped advise surety companies on bonded obligations related to timber, coal mining, and landfill operations on issues such as collateral release, indemnification, and black-lung claims
- Represented clients defending citizen suits under the Clean Water Act relating to permitting and compliance claims, and worked with a team of attorneys on Clean Water Act administrative litigation with regional public health implications relating to pollution of source drinking water
- Assisted clients with navigating RCRA and CERCLA potential liabilities
