Ballard Spahr's Wilmington, Delaware, office is located in the heart of the nation's "corporate capital." The office, which opened in 2002, serves clients in the areas of bankruptcy and reorganization, public finance, commercial litigation, government and corporate investigations, and white collar defense.
Pro bono service is a hallmark of the firm, and our Wilmington attorneys devote hundreds of hours to pro bono cases every year. They serve as court-appointed special advocates in Delaware Family Court, participate in a program that offers free tax preparation for low-income Delaware residents, and visit local schools to educate students about the court system and legal careers through the Wilmington Street Law program.
Emilie R. Ninan, Managing Partner
Each of Ballard Spahr's 13 offices uniquely reflects the practices of its attorneys and the clients they serve, its market and industry focus, and the city it calls home. More than individual dots on a map, these offices are part of an interlocking whole that hums with the energy of attorneys working together and drawing on their collective experience for clients around the world.
