Gregory L. Seltzer is an associate in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity, Securities, and Life Sciences/Technology Groups. Mr. Seltzer is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania and previously worked as an auditor and tax consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Seltzer’s accounting license is currently inactive.
Mr. Seltzer concentrates his practice on public and private merger and acquisition transactions, securities matters (including public and private securities offerings and public disclosure), licensing transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and corporate governance.

- Served as lead associate on two public merger transactions, each having a value exceeding $1 billion
- Served as lead associate on biotech and pharmaceutical licensing transactions, involving patents, trademarks, data, and know-how
- Handled private acquisition and disposition transactions ranging in size from $15 million to $180 million; in the capacity of lead associate, Mr. Seltzer was primarily responsible for negotiation of the definitive agreements and coordinated the provision of legal services by the Ballard team of lawyers
