Clifford J. Schoner is of counsel in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group and Health Care Reform Initiative.
Mr. Schoner concentrates his practice in employee benefits law, including the establishment, operation, and termination of qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation and welfare plans. His experience with executive compensation programs includes the treatment of compensation and benefits in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Schoner is well versed in all fiduciary aspects of plan operation and investment. Before joining Ballard Spahr, he worked with Union Pacific Railroad Company as ERISA counsel for more than 17 years.
