John L. Ruppert is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity; Transactional Finance; Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Capital Recovery; and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Groups. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate and commercial finance, business combinations, reorganizations, recapitalizations, restructurings, and executive compensation along with the federal income tax matters relating to these transactions.
Mr. Ruppert represents private equity funds and portfolio companies in a variety of industries. He represents private equity funds in connection with their formation, capital raises, and acquisitions and dispositions of portfolio companies, as well as the boards of directors and senior management regarding structuring deals, and related tax, finance, and executive compensation.
