Steven M. Miller is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the CCRC Financing and Workout; Transactional Finance; Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity; Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Capital Recovery; and Higher Education Groups.

Mr. Miller concentrates his practice on counseling clients within financial services, with a particular emphasis on secured and asset-based lending, as well as syndicated credit facilities. His experience includes representing banks, commercial finance companies, second-lien lenders, tranche B mezzanine lenders, and hedge funds.  Mr. Miller also has significant experience in representing corporate clients in sophisticated commercial financing transactions.

Representative Matters

  • Represented the agent bank in the $100 million financing of a private equity acquisition of a building products company
  • Represented the agent bank in the syndicated financing of the acquisition of the southeastern Pennsylvania retail operations of a global petroleum business
  • Represented the agent bank in a $200 million financing of one of the nation's foremost managers of structured finance products
  • Represented one of the leading publicly traded e-commerce businesses in the country in a $150 million financing
