Troy E. Larson is an associate in the Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation, Trademarks, and Copyrights Groups. Mr. Larson focuses his practice on trademark and Internet law. He counsels clients on trademark clearance, use, prosecution, enforcement, and licensing. He regularly advises clients on such Internet law issues as domain name dispute resolution, registration, policing and enforcement strategies, Web site linking, Web site terms of use, and keyword advertising.

Mr. Larson has handled a variety of intellectual property-based litigation matters, including cases involving trademark infringement, false advertising, unfair competition, dilution, right of publicity, keyword advertising, and copyright infringement. He has litigated before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, handling ex parte appeals and trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings. Mr. Larson has also litigated several domain name disputes before the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Pro Bono Experience

Mr. Larson regularly handles pro bono matters referred to him by Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. He has helped local artists secure trademark and copyright protection, defend and enforce their intellectual property rights, and negotiate the commercial use of their art work by third parties.
