Eben C. Hansel is an associate in the Real Estate Department and a member of the Real Estate Development and Real Estate Finance Groups.
Mr. Hansel has a diverse practice focused primarily on commercial real estate law and transactions, with additional experience in corporate transactions, bankruptcy, and litigation. His real estate practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate law and transactions, including permitting, title, zoning and environmental issues, acquisitions and dispositions, site development and construction, project financing, loan workouts and acquisition of distressed assets, and leasing.
Mr. Hansel has represented national retailers, public REITs and private-equity investors, office and laboratory tenants, community development corporations, and several local nonprofit organizations. He is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional (New Construction).
Mr. Hansel is a member of the Baltimore City Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee.
