Brian D. Doerner is a partner in the Business and Finance Department, Practice Leader of the Life Sciences/Technology Group, and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity, Securities, and International Groups. He is the former Chair of the Business and Finance Department, and recently served for six months as the interim general counsel for an NYSE-listed multinational company.
Mr. Doerner has extensive experience representing both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, cross-border transactions, and general corporate matters. He has negotiated numerous strategic alliances, licensing agreements, and collaborations for life sciences, technology, manufacturing, and other companies. In the area of securities law, Mr. Doerner has handled numerous private placements, private equity transactions, initial public offerings, secondary and follow-on offerings, tender offers, and 144A transactions.
After receiving his M.B.A. and before attending law school, Mr. Doerner worked at IBM.

- Represented a NASDAQ company in the acquisition from a Dutch multinational of a division with operations in 12 countries
