Lisa M. Cuifolo is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Corporate and Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Group and Securities Group. She focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense, securities fraud, and complex civil litigation. 

Ms. Cuifolo has defended a number of companies and individuals in federal criminal investigations involving public corruption, securities fraud, health care fraud, environmental crimes, and other various business frauds. She has also represented individuals and corporations in enforcement and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission and securities industry self-regulating organizations.

Representative Matters

  • Represented the board of directors of a not-for-profit organization in an internal and grand jury investigation relating to conflicts of interest and misappropriation of state and federal funding
  • Represented a labor official in connection with a public corruption investigation being conducted by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
  • Represented a global manufacturer of computer technology in an SEC investigation regarding insider trading
  • Represented an investment banker in an SEC investigation relating to acquisition of a related company
