Muhammad At-Tauhidi, an associate at Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, was named to the board of The Enterprise Center, a non-profit organization created to inspire, support, and provide resources to minority entrepreneurs.
Mr. At-Tauhidi, a member of Ballard Spahr's Life Sciences/Technology Group, is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where the Enterprise Center was founded. Mr. At-Tauhidi also co-founded and managed an independent record label before entering the legal profession and hopes to leverage his entrepreneurial background in furthering the center's efforts.
The Enterprise Center offers access to capital, business education, and economic development opportunities to minority entrepreneurs. Its facilities at 46th and Market Streets host educational programs and on-site seminars and house a dedicated staff that provides information and guidance on available funding sources and resource networks.
"The Enterprise Center has an extremely talented staff and is quite entrepreneurial in finding creative ways to make an impact in the community," said Mr. At-Tauhidi. "They do amazing things to further economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and entrepreneurship in minority and low-income communities."
I am very excited to be able to contribute to the center's mission." For more information, visit www.theenterprisecenter.com.
