Companies are increasingly keeping a close eye on employees' activities. The monitoring of video, computer, and phone use and GPS tracking are commonplace in many organizations. This program will discuss workplace issues associated with monitoring employees, including policy development, the duty to bargain over monitoring, wiretapping statutes, discipline of employees based on surveillance, and constitutional concerns.
